It`s often stated that we don`t miss the water until the well run`s dry,
Back in the 70`s the Ohio Player`s said it best for me, I WANT TO BE FREE!!!
The band had seven Top 40 hits between 1973 and 1976, these include, fire" #1 on both the R & B
and pop chart for two weeks and one week respectively in february 1975 and another million seller,
And then there was Love Rollercoaster, #1on both the R & B and pop chartsfor one week in January 1976,
another gold disc recipient, LEROY "SUGARFOOT" BONNER ,One of the most outrageously funky
singers and writers in modern music passed away at age 69
He will be missed but not forgotten as his legacy and music lives on, The band formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1959 as the Ohio Untouchables ,initially included members , Robert Ward, Marshall Rock Jones, Clarence Satch Satchell, Cornelius Johnson and Ralph Pee Wee Middlebrooks,
The band at the time was best known as the backing group for the Detroit Falcons
